How to save contacts to Google on Android ?

#1
Hi everyone !

It's been several years since I got my first SIM card, I saved all my contacts on it for a while. Now, to benefit from the user picture and more, I save my contacts directly on my phone.

The problem is, when I will change my phone, I will need to use a application to transfer my contacts from phone A to phone B. I know there is a way to do that : by putting all my contacts in the cloud, linked to my Google account. But I have several questions :

- Will I be able to store all the data I have on my contacts ? (Name and number ok, but what about picture, mail, birthday...)
- How do I transfer all my contacts on my Google account ?
- Is there any privacy issue ?

Thanks for your help ;)
