Service Tag is defined as a sequence of characters specified by the manufacturer. This is typical for a Dell product.

Check directly on the body

Check with BIOS

The order of steps to perform the BIOS check is as follows:

- Step 1: Shutdown> Then restart the computer, and at the same time press F2.

- Step 2: Go to Settings> Select General> Select System Information> Find the Service Tag item to get the device's serial number.

You visit Dell's warranty website to check if your machine is still within the warranty period. Then follow these instructions:

- Step 1: Enter the Service Tag number of your device in the Search box > Click Search.
