Micro USB port or USB Type C port on mobile devices in addition to charging, you can use it to access data via USB with OTG connection. So how to check if your device has OTG connection, please follow this article.

OTG connection will allow users to connect their phones to peripheral devices such as mouse, keyboard, memory card, USB, gaming handle, ... via OTG or USB OTG connection cable.

Quick ways to do it

- Step 1: Go to pdadb.net website, enter the device name to check.

- Step 2: Select the correct device model in the search list that appears.

- Step 3: Check the results.

- Step 1: Access to website pdadb.net

+ Step 2: Enter the search box for the device you need to check whether there is an OTG connection. For example, Samsung Note 9, then press the Search button.

Then select the correct device model name in the search list.

+ Step 3: Scroll down to Communication Interfaces section, in which you will see the USB Services line and check the results. As you can see, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phone supports OTG connection.
