I did play it, had a lot of fun, good times
Regarding the other games, have you tried out Hearthstone? Not really similar, but it's still action packed game. It's a card based game made by Blizzard company. Game follows the story of the Warcraft game franchise. It's really fun, addictive and will really occupy you for a long time. Also they is a ranking system so if you are a competitive person, it's a perfect game for you.

I remember being addicted to this series. I have played all the entries in the season and it was one of my favorite games. I feel like Infinity Blade was my start to mobile gaming.
