Enable Battery Health in iOS 11.3 on iPhone to effectively manage device performance and prevent unexpected shutdowns.

Apple has introduced Battery Health - a feature in the Performance Management tool of iOS 11.3 (beta 2) to provide more detailed information about the battery health of the device. However, you can only use the Battery Health feature on your iPhone 6 later.

Battery Health only appears on iPhone 6 and above, to iPhone 7 Plus.

If you do not want to use it or the device is running without problems, the Performance Management tool is disabled by default. However, if iPhone crashes unexpectedly, it will automatically be turned on.

Read through the content below to learn more about this user-friendly feature of iOS 11.3

Performance Management tools have been specifically designed for iPhone and do not apply to any other Apple product. An unexpected iPhone shutdown usually occurs for long term isage, colder temperatures, or low battery status. In the worst case, iPhone can be shut down more often and eventually foundthe device completely unusable.
With performance management, iOS will prevent the device from shutting down unexpectedly.

You can test the Performance Management tool to optimize performance to prevent sudden shutdowns and may choose to disable it. Simply open the Settings> Battery application and go to Battery Health.

It is activated only after iPhone has been shut down for the first time on a device with a degraded battery capable of delivering instant power at its maximum. It supports iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, SE, 7 and 7 Plus.

Battery Health is present in the battery monitor, as part of Performance Management.

IPhones running at full battery life (like iPhone X or iPhone 8/8 Plus) do not have the ability to disable the performance degradation feature that causes iPhone to run slower. Apple's iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X versions use advanced hardware and software design to provide more accurate estimates of battery power requirements to maximize system performance.

This gives the system more accurate performance management, allowing iOS to predict and avoid sudden shutdowns. As a result, the effects of performance management may not be noticeable on the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X. Over time, rechargeable batteries in all iPhone models will reduce capacity and eventually peak performance will need to be chosen.

Well that is one the better things i have read recently. Great explanation of the details regarding that feature. Battery issues are such a huge problem on many phones, especially on the outdated ones. Since a lot of people have these kind of problems, hopefully it will help many of them :)
What similar feature/application would you recommend for the Android platform? Is there even any that is this good?
Also it says that it is a beta version, any idea when the official one is coming out? :)

Great post by the way.
