A decade ago Sony Ericsson Smart Phones where one of the best. Offering Carl Zeiss Lens Sony phones where sought after by both photographers and smartphone users.
I bought 2 Experia's for my kids a year ago, a M4 Aqua and a C5 Ultra. It was my Christmas gift for them. I thought the cameras where good and sadly I was wrong.
The M4 Aqua which suppose to have a 13mp/5mp cam in reality has the output of an 8mp and the C5 Ultra which has a 13mp/13mp cam produces a slightly better output. Both Experia models is no match in terms of quality and clarity when compared to a Samsung Phone with the same specs.
My kids where so disappointed
with the camera quality they wanted to have the phones replaced. Another disappointment is the Internal Memory of the Experia's which was eaten up by useless factory installed apps. That's why as a result my kids must limit their downloads to a bare minimum.
I bought the Aqua for $200 and the C5 for $300 and I just wished I bought Samsung or even Huawei phones instead.
