With the previous generations of iPhone then with the Home button, we will be taking photos by pressing the two buttons Home + Source. However, with iPhone X has no Home button, so the operation will be a bit different.
To take a screenshot on an iPhone X, you will need to press Source key + volume up button. The rest is nothing different than before, the photo is still saved on Photos as before.
If you are a frequent user of this feature, it is best to install this feature into the Virtual Home button.
Go to Settings> General> Accessibility> AssistiveTouch> Customize Top Level Menu. There you assign the function to the virtual home key to make this process easier.
