Sound not going through hdmi - Laptop

Hello!
I am trying to connect my laptop dell to my smart TV using HDMI cable.

I have the picture but I have no sound.

I have checked the laptopts sound and TV's sound but they are on 100, so something else must be a problem.

Can you help me out ?

You can check if the drivers for your graphics card are installed properly. My laptop uses it's Graphics card's audio driver. It usually goes by the name Nvidia audio driver if you have Nvidia as the GPU of your laptop.

I did a reboot after I checked the graphics and it seems to work fine.
I guess my sound was somehow turned off, because I was doing configurations on my laptop and I probably, accidentally turned it off.
Yeah, Nvidia is the one I have.

No problem! I'm glad it's fixed with a reboot.

Sometimes Windows just likes to act up and cough out problems. Nothing a good reboot can't fix.
