Throughout my years of study in college, I’ve used both laptops and iPads for on the go work. I have found a few advantages and setbacks when using both l, which I will list below, but I can’t decide which one I prefer the most. I do a lot of writing so a laptop is beneficial for that purpose unless I were to purchase a keyboard for my iPad. Still I prefer the comfort of the laptop keyboard rather than the iPad. I just wish my laptop were as light as my tablet! Here are some other pros and cons:
Laptop:
Pros:
-full keyboard and screen (holds itself up)
-durable and efficient word processing
-better gaming experience
Cons:
-large and bulky, heavy
-sometimes hard to get comfortable with
iPad
Pros:
-light weight
-versatile (fits in small bags)
-convenient to use on the go
Cons:
-easily breakable
-limited operating system
I’m curious to hear some of your thoughts on the matter. What have you used before? Have you used it for school or work purposes? What were some of your experiences? Where they negative or positive? What would you recommend and why?
