After a long wait, AMD has officially launched the Radeon RX 5000 series graphics card (codenamed Navi) developed based on a completely new DNA architecture. The RX 5000 series will be manufactured using the latest 7 nm process and is also the first graphics processor to use PCIe 4.0 interface.

The most prominent highlight of the RX 5000 series is that AMD has moved to use a completely new DNA architecture, replacing the old Graphic Core Next GCN (Graphic) architecture. Combined with the latest 7 nm production process, AMD says the latest graphics processor will improve 1.25 times power and 1.5 times more performance than the previous generation.

At Computex's KeyNote session 2019, AMD also touted the RX 5700 with about 10% higher performance than the Nvidia equivalent of RTX 2070.

The AMD Radeon RX 5000 series is expected to go on sale in July, promising to make an attractive choice for gamers.
