Step 1: Go to your iPhone's settings.

Step 2: Choose General Settings.

Step 3: Go to Accessibility.

Step 4: Scroll down to select Accessibility shortcuts.

Step 5: Select Assistive Touch.

So when you want to turn off the virtual Home button on the iPhone just a triple-clicks on the Home button to enable AssistiveTouch without going to Settings to reset again.

I am searching for this feature on my iPhone and I could enable it from tips on your post. I can say this is one of features that I like most on iPhone that I never missed because I can use it that don't need to press on physical home button to get back home screen.
