How to fix error turn off screen but also turned off wifi connection?

I have an Android smartphone and when I turn off its screen then it also turned off Wifi connection? how to fix this? I want to keep Wifi network though.

Hey Bill,

The steps can help you to correct the error turn off the screen but not make wifi off on your Samsung smartphone

Step 1: Go to "Settings".
Step 2: You choose "Connect".
Step 3: Select "Wifi" and choose "Advanced".
Step 4: Select "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep"
Step 5: Select "Always" to keep the connection even when the screen is off.

These will solve your problem.
