Where does Mega download to ?

Hi, i love the new Megaupload successor. It's neat and has a great download speed but something bugs me...

When you launch a download, it does in the browser and then, when it's finished, the "real" (?) download starts and you can choose a directory.
Does it store a temporary file somewhere on the computer ? If so, where is it located ?

Other than that, what do you think about Mega ? Do you know better alternatives ?

If I recall correctly, it either goes to your desktop or straight into your downloads folder. I remember being a little bit confused about how it works at first.

Mega is a great service that I use all the time. The encrypted cloud storage makes me feel a lot more secure about my data than with some other third party solutions. It's free, and it's come a long way since Megaupload.

Yeah, I remember Megaupload. It was cluttered with ads haha.
The website itself was awful but the service was incredible, Mega is a worthy successor I think.
