Smartwatch Platform: Android Wear or Samsung Gear?

Recently I had bought a smartwatch and I am using Samsung S7 edge phone. Now I am wondering what platform do I have to use which will give much support, the Android Wear or the Samsung Gear?

In my opinion.... the best way is using the same OEM platform. If you are using Samsung smartphone i think it's best with Samsung gear. Not only that you can assure a smooth connectivity , compatibility issues will be excluded....

Basically it's best to go with the same manufacturer in dealing with different devices. Also the fact that the manufacturer has tested and certified the use of their brand and accessories. You are entitled to their privileges and warranties.
