How to set up fingerprint unlock on Sony Xperia X smartphone

Nowadays, smartphones from the middle to high end have security features. Fingerprint security makes it safer to protect your private data. To install a Sony Xperia X fingerprint, follow these steps:



Step 1: Go to "Settings".

Step 2: Select "Screen lock and security".

Step 3: Select "Fingerprint Manager".

Step 4: Select "Continue".

Step 5: Select "Set screen lock".

Step 6: Select unlock method. Here I choose Pin.

Step 7: Select "Continue".

Step 8: Enter Pin Code and select "Continue".

Step 9: Confirm the battery code and select "OK".

Step 10: Select "Next".

Step 11: Perform a fingerprint scan by placing your finger on the power button and following the instructions on the screen.

Step 12: Select "Done".

Final step: Check your fingerprint in "Fingerprint manager".

Fingerprint unlock is a great security feature. Too bad it's not on the Sony Xperia XA though. I got a Sony Xperia XA
