So what exactly is the big deal about this whole fps thing? If you record a video at a higher fps it will absolutely destroy your video quality and it basically doesn't even make sense to record it in 60fps. But if you do it in 30 then the video almost seems choppy and laggy. What exactly am i supposed to do here to get a decent fps and video quality and what would you change if you could?
This is something that just makes absolutely no sense and i wish we could do something about it when it comes do mid/high range smartphones.

FPS stands for Frames Per Second, it basically means more to see in a second. Example is a bouncing ball. If you have 2 FPS your just gonna see two movements one the ball in the ground and another a ball on the top. Now the higher the FPS the more clear movements or animation you will see. But its not all FPS in video and animation quality, it also involves hardware renditions so you will not see any blurriness and frame glitches.

Many of us thought a higher FPS on videos and games will...

What i wanted to ask was why can't we find the sweet spot when it comes to recording a video on a smartphone? We have to choose between a choppy and laggy 30FPS with a good quality or a smooth 60FPS with a pretty bad quality. How do we fix that and is there even a phone that can record in the...

60 fps videos are better than 30 fps videos. However, there are still occasions that I pick 30 fps over 60 fps. Just like what you've said, my phone also make me choose between 30 fps of higher video quality or a 60 fps with lower video quality. Most of the time, 30 fps would is sufficient already and not everyone would notice a difference. Try using a different camera app or fiddle with your camera settings. Try turning OIS or EIS on. In my case, I am using an LG G5 right now and I use FHD...

60FPS (Frames Per Second) just shows your videos and games smoother than 30FPS. I honestly don't see why 30 FPS would be better. It's like comparing a Nintendo DS with a Nintendo 3DS. It's the same thing, but the 3D is better.
The only downside I can think of is the price, but I don't find that a valid argument in this case, except if the price is doubled as well, but then it wouldn't just be the FPS that makes the device that much more expensive.
Note: If you don't know what overlays are, they are like a border around your facecam or the edges of the video.

I finally got some money and I want to use it to order a Fiverr gig where someone will make an overlay to my liking. The problem is, I don't know what I want. I always like to keep it cool, so I prefer a blue and white pattern, but then I played Kingdom Hearts and an overlay in the style of that game's command board could fit really well with my bitboss widget. And there other people share me their ideas and I kind of like those as well.

I only have money for 1 order, so ordering multiple is currently not an option, and I want to have something that identifies my channel, so I don't really want to change between 2 or 3 overlays. Sure, something else for the holidays or for special streams, but one main overlay.

Got any advice of what I should do?

When you have difficulties with choosing the right thing(generally speaking) in the most cases, under condition that there are more than 3 offers, it's the wisest to do next:
-you should roughly choose 2 out of 3 things
-then those 2 things, if you can, separate and combine with 4th next thing you seem to like the most or
-if you can't separate the first 2 objects then just ask 5 random persons in your nearest environment which one they prefer out of the 2

That's actually a great idea, and it's something I should've kept in mind as well: Ask my community which gig they seem to think would be best to order! It's not okay if I'm the only one who's satisfied, my viewers have to accept it too. Well, not like everyone is going to agree with on another, but a bit of democracy can help decide which one is going to appeal to everyone the most.

Thanks for the tips, I'll be sure to use them!

This phone's gamepad is detachable. It is also said that it has "true" liquid cooling. I don't know what they mean by that because I've only seen liquid cooling on a PC. I wonder how they're going to implement that in a small form factor like this phone. :)

Most new mobile games are using virtual analog joysticks. This will be very helpful for gamers to make their movements more accurate than having a software/touch gamepad. :D

Had no idea, but it does look cool.
I wonder when did someone came up with this.
Apple and Samsung did nothing and maybe they missed a huge opportunity.

My son would go crazy over this!! I love the feature of when you have the phone turned sideways playing games, nobody can call and mess you up when you are right in the middle of a game 💁🏼‍♀️ #nointerruptions

It looks like a pretty awesome smartphone, and the price also isn't too high (around $500,00). However, we're about half a year since this topic has been posted and I've already seen some equally good smartphones at a lower price.
Not saying this is a bad smartphone, no far from it, just saying that there are better options in case you need a new phone, but everyone who has one of these now are probably happy, and they'd be right.
I am currently looking for some Google hangout alternatives. I have used enough of Google hangouts and really need something in addition to that. Any alternatives that you might be using already?

You can use Viber, Viber uses the same method wherein you gonna need use or call to actual mobile numbers for you to be able to call to anyone who uses the same flatform. And it works as long as you have internet connection.

Yes, I have heard about Viber a lot and thought to give it a try. It would be interesting to call on a mobile number too using Viber.

Viber is a good one, I think that my phone came with Viber application when I bought it, I didn't get to go and download it. I have been using it ever since I it's such a good tool.

It's too mainstream, but Skype has also features like Hangouts, but with "more". If you haven't, just try Skype or Messenger app from Facebook.

Yes, Skype I have been using since many years, but I thought, it is not free to call, it needs some credits for calling. Is that so?

I would recommend Discord. You can chat, send messages and even add lots of different bots so that you and friends can listen to music, play a certain game, or keep track of certain details. There's too many to name them.
You can talk in private conversations or create a private Discord server for all of your friends. It's completely free (with Discord Nitro for extra options, but completely optional/ignorable)!
I currently have an iPhone 6 and my iOs version is on iOs 10. I did not update my iOs because they said that it slows down my iPhone. With that reason I am hesitant to update to the latest iOs verion for my iPhone 6. What are you recommendations?

If you're still happy with the current version, then don't do it. Why would you potentionally ruin something that works perfectly fine? If your iPhone is already slow to your taste, you might as well try it. If it made things worse and you can't revert it, just buy a new phone. If your phone is already so slow without such updates, you might as well buy a new one, so it can't hurt to experiment and save your money a little bit longer, right?
